Empower yourself to have a strong antiracism lens by building a strong foundation.
This course bundle is great for beginners and those who want to deepen their antiracism awareness
Empower yourself to have a strong antiracism lens by building a strong foundation. Dive deeper into key topics and learn about various topics. The Anti-racism Self Learner Starter Bundle is designed to provide self-learners with the tools needed to start committing to learning, reflecting, and dismantling systemic oppression.
Many people struggle with identifying where to start the life-long journey of anti-racism. We have curated a bundle pack to guide you covering important and foundational antiracism topics.
1. Anti-Racism 101 “Crash Course”
Explore what anti-racism is, where to start and common mistakes to avoid. This awareness helps to build the foundation of unlearning and reeducating to facilitate conversations in race with knowledge and confidence.
2. Critical Conversations about Race, Gender & Identity
Explore the intersections of race, gender, & sexuality. We all hold multiple social identities simultaneously, such as race, gender, and sexuality. This panel discussion with BIPOC guests of the LGBTQ community examines how multiple oppressed identities interact to create overlapping and compounding systems of disadvantage.
3. White Fear
Unpack the common fears that white people have about race and how to deal with them. Explore practical strategies and insight on how to deal with these fears and how to stay aligned with anti-racism. This clarity helps to transform defensiveness into empathy, compassion and connection.
4. My Black Friend
Explore the effects of tokenism and how it simply gives the appearance of equality without achieving it. Learn how to stop tokenizing your Black friends, what to do during times of collective grieving and how to build meaningful relationships.
Learn and unlearn, so we can Shine Brighter Together.

Read MoreWhen comparing anti-racism resources that exist today I am thankful I invested in Monique's course. As I engage in this work I find the concept relatively easy to grasp, but struggle with the lack of actionable steps. Additionally I struggle with the fact that the responsibility of providing actionable steps does not fall on the educator. I found Monique's course the perfect balance of explanation and recommendation on how I can do the work to identify the actions I will take to consistently engage in anti-racism. Thank you Monique!

Read MoreEvery question you have about anti-racism is answered here, so well worth the 90 minutes and monetary investment in this crash course. Prepare to feel uncomfortable, no matter how much work you've done inside yourself to identify your racism and how white supremacy benefits you. Monique is unwavering in her convictions, and is a gifted communicator. What came up for me again and again was admiration for her boundaries, along with some work I need to do on how I feel about a woman being this stern - most of us white women are cool with a man being stern, but not a woman, white or Black. That needs to change if we want to dismantle the patriarchy. Unapologetically demanding to be paid (white women are terrible at unapologetically demanding to be paid), calling us out on the free work we ask our Black friends and strangers to do - this really challenged me and was a big aha. Hell, even the stuff I'm writing here could be racist, but I'm prepared to be corrected if so. It's time to get to work. Thank you!

It is always best to sit with your discomfort and figure out what/why it is bothering you before you react. Thank you again for another incredible learning experience.

Read MoreI just finished watching the live and this panel was AMAZING! Actually amazing doesn’t even begin to describe it. I could listen to all the guest speakers for days and it still wouldn’t be enough. All the learning, information and personal stories has really given me so much to think inwardly about and to propel me to keep doing the work on the daily. I’m so thankful I was able to watch and listen to such a group of beautiful souls. I really hope there’s a round 2 because I just couldn’t get enough. Thank you Moe for this! Pass the collection plate!
