At first, when the class was announced, I didn't think I needed a course like this. But I kept coming back to Monique's page and seeing the posts, and it got me thinking about friendship breakups I've had and what healing/not healing has looked like in those. I decided to sign up and see what insights Monique had (because at the end of the day, every other class I've taken with her has left me with pages of notes and reflections to come back to), and I was not disappointed. I enjoy seeing this new way that Monique is working, yet still focusing on Black liberation through these topics. I also now have a lot to think about in regards to my patterns and behaviors that may have led to friendship breakups I felt I had no fault in and also reminded me of the times where the cycle of friendships did not lead to a breakup and understand what worked there and why we reconnected. I am really hoping to make the Q&A. As always, thank you so much, Monique, for your time, your thoughtful anecdotes, your humor, and your lessons. The structure of the class is easy to follow, and I feel like there were extra questions this time (maybe not, but in the immediate aftermath it feels as such) to go and reflect on in the days and weeks ahead.

Another incredible class from Monique Melton! She shared so much wisdom and insight, I'm going to be processing her questions for a long time. Monique shared so much good information, and the way she described the stages of friendship is brilliant. I learned so much already and I recommend this class to everyone.
